SYNOPSIS
In a looping hotel hallway, a man opens three doors – to betrayal, distraction, and loneliness – reliving the emotional void of searching for real love in a world of illusions. This treatment tells the story of the emotional disorientation of modern love through the eyes of a man caught in a surreal loop of heartbreak, temptation, and isolation. Set within a single hotel hallway, the story unfolds as the protagonist repeatedly opens the same door – each time revealing a new emotional state that reflects a different phase of his inner struggle.
THE CONCEPT
Storytelling Concept:
The music video was directed to be a two-$$$ided story.
Both sides tell the same story, but from opposite directions: Side A plays the narrative forward, while Side B reverses it — offering two unique perspectives that reveal different emotional layers depending on the order they’re viewed. I recommend starting with Side A and following with Side B, though they’re built to stand alone or loop infinitely.
Promotional Concept:
The structure is designed not only as a storytelling tool, but also as a dynamic rollout strategy — perfect for building momentum on social media, teasing different angles of the same moment, and encouraging repeat viewing.
To elevate the concept further, the video is crafted to loop seamlessly — on either side — echoing the feel of a vinyl record flipping from A to B.
I wanted to create more than a music video. I wanted this to be a visual album experience.
